Hourly Pay: $20 per hour (up to 8 hours)
Employment Type: Contractor, Freelancer
Typical Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Uniform: Ruban Bleu Shirt or Black collared shirt, Black Pants, Black Shoes
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Assistant Day-of-Wedding Coordinator to support our team in ensuring the smooth execution of wedding events. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making couples' special day truly memorable. This is a contractor/freelance role with the potential for ongoing opportunities based on event schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Setup and Venue Preparation

Assist with ceremony and reception setup according to established layouts and designs.

Arrange seating, table settings, décor, and other visual elements as directed by the lead coordinator.

Ensure all signage, guest books, and necessary items are properly displayed.
2. Vendor Coordination

Help coordinate the arrival and setup of vendors such as florists, photographers, caterers, and musicians.

Serve as a point of contact for vendors throughout the event.
3. Guest Assistance

Greet and guide guests upon arrival, providing directions and answering basic questions.

Assist with distributing programs, escort cards, and favors.
4. Timeline Management

Support the lead coordinator to ensure the event timeline is followed accurately.

Alert vendors and participants of upcoming activities and transitions.
5. Ceremony and Reception Support

Assist with coordinating the processional and recessional during the ceremony.

Guide guests to their seats and help manage any unexpected issues.
6. Emergency Handling

Remain calm and solution-oriented when handling unforeseen situations or last-minute changes.
7. Assistance to Bridal Party

Help bridal party members stay on schedule and in the correct locations.

Assist with handling bouquets, boutonnieres, and other necessary items.
8. Clean-Up and Breakdown

Assist with event breakdown and cleanup.

Ensure all rented items are collected and the venue is left in good condition.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Ability to remain professional and composed in high-pressure situations.

Availability to work weekends and evenings.

Physically able to lift and move event equipment and décor.

Familiarity with weddings and wedding etiquette is preferred.
